FDA Approves Nuzolvence, Blujepa to Treat Gonorrhea

The FDA approved Entasis Therapeutics' Nuzolvence (zoliflodacin) and GSK's Blujepa (gepotidacin) as oral medicines to treat gonorrhea in patients 12 years and older. In separate studies, Nuzolvence granules dissolved in water and Blujepa oral tablets showed 91% and 93% efficacy, respectively.
